Monroe Street Midway
From November 11th to January 29th, venture down to 32 Monroe Street for the Decked Out Detroit festival! The whole family will truly enjoy the Midway’s creative attractions, including “puck-putt,” bumper cars on ice, and a 20-foot tall arctic slide. Best of all, most of the amenities are free of charge! If you visit Thursday – Sunday, you might even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself!

Light Up Beacon Park and Toyland
The DTE Beacon Park Foundation is kicking off the holiday season with two free events:

Toyland and Light Up Beacon Park, that will run until January 16th at 1903 Grand River Avenue. The larger-than-life Toyland event will be an unforgettable memory for children and adults alike! Awe-inspiring light features including nutcrackers, toys, and presents, will shine brightly for wondering eyes to admire. Guests can get a behind-the-scenes look at Santa’s workshop and the toy train runs on select Saturdays throughout the season.

Then, head over for the nightly lighting of the Children’s Tree from 5pm – 9pm. It will glow with thousands of brilliant LED lights and ornaments. Santa and live reindeer will also be around and eager for family visits.
