America’s Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit is one of the largest and most-watched parades in the country! The event has been creating magic on Woodward Avenue since 1924. This year’s theme is “Our Great City! Detroit!!” Viewers can expect colorful parade floats, performances by local dance teams, and upbeat music. 

When is the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade 2022? 

The parade begins at 8:45 am on November 24, 2022. Put that turkey in the oven early, so you don’t miss it! 

Where is the Detroit Thanksgiving 2022 Parade route? 

The parade begins at Woodward and Kirby in Downtown Detroit. It continues to march down historic Woodward Avenue, ending at Woodward and Congress. You can view a map of the route here.
